May 31 – June 3, 2012 international exhibition "The Girotonno"

This year Cuba will be present at the tenth edition of The girotondo, an international gastronomic competition, in the beautiful surroundings of the island of San Pietro, in the southwest of Sardinia, Carloforte, with the presentation of Cuban dishes in keeping to the traditions of the Mediterranean.

Thursday May 31, 2012 will start to international gastronomic competition at the Museum of the sea, Notch, with the first session of race: Italy and Colombia at 20.00.

On 1 June 2012 will be the turn of the second race session with the participation of Cuba and Greece. The race will be held behind closed doors and reserved for national and international journalists and experts in the field.

The June 2, 2012 there will be a ceremony for the gastronomic competition.
